It is (almost comically) ironic that Dunn calls the N.H-J case a form of manufactured outrage, then lists reactionary legislation banning (the manufactured outrage about?) critical race theory as a "thing of note."
If 'liberal' media and faculty -- and N.H-J -- get outraged about the mere intimation of racism, perhaps it is because right wing culture warriors are outrageous in their manufactured fears of looking racism squarely in the face? Things of note:
1. African Americans were enslaved, disenfranchised, and marginalized for several hundred years before CRT and the 1619 Project brought attention to that fact.
2. The radical right still makes up stories to justify disenfranchising African Americans and to silence serious discussions of the persistence of racism in America.
